Providing specialized investigative support involving cybercrime, financial crimes, fraud, security incidents, and other criminal matters within the Division's authorized responsibilities and jurisdiction.
Identifying and assessing potential threats to personnel, research activities, sensitive technologies, and operational security. Supporting protective measures against espionage, insider threats, and hostile activities.
Providing investigative and analytical support for authorized oversight and Office of Inspector General-related missions. This work may include fraud investigations, investigative research, evidence analysis, and support for inquiries involving waste, abuse, misconduct, or financial irregularities.
All investigative activities are conducted under applicable legal authorities, contractual requirements, and the direction of the responsible agency or authorized officials.
